Responsible for analyzing architectural drawings to produce shop drawings in CAD in order to specify the required rebar product necessary for construction projects as well as minimizing material waste. Using knowledge of theories and principles of civil engineering as well as extensive experience working with rebar products, will draw up blueprints utilizing technical studies that show installation of rebar products and specific rebar specifications needed to satisfy technical specifications of architectural plans. Liaisons with site project and civil engineers to make required design changes to meet structural codes and specifications. Oversees the installation on site of all rebar products to insure proper installation and that product meets architectural specifications.

Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering or its equivalent and at least two years’ experience in the above job duties.
